[After keeping it hidden for a while, Lash takes the time on a not-too-busy Tuesday night to read from the book she stole from a place that her and Claus no doubt burned down last week. Hey, she's got a lot on her mind and it would better for her to get educated about certain things, right? Better than asking Robotnik, in any case.

She can't read it in her room, not with Kumatora there. Kumatora should be the LAST person learning about this book. Placing a comic over it, she is sitting in the corner of the common room, watching to make sure no one notices and putting it away when they do, pretending to be preparing notes for her next class. Mesprit was floating along, swishing her tails merrily behind her. She had decided to be sociable today and decided the cafeteria would be the BESTEST place to make new friends. On her way, however, she glanced into the common room and spotted the floofy-haired girl reading a book.

Oh boy, a book! Uxie was always reading those! And it looked like a PICTURE book! Those were her favorite!
